    If you’re thinking of selling your home, there are a few important improvements you should make in order to net the best price. However, not all improvements are equal. You must be strategic when sprucing up your home so that it doesn’t wind up half-improved.

    Updating a single feature of an out-of-date kitchen, for example, does not constitute a complete improvement. Generally, a kitchen upgrade means swapping out the countertops, flooring, cabinets, backsplash, etc. In other words, it takes a lot of time, energy, and money.

    If you can’t afford or don’t want to complete such a major project, it may be better to leave your kitchen as it is. It’s better to have a cohesive-looking room than one that looks haphazardly upgraded.
